North East Accountancy Awards is proud to support The Prince's Trust as our charity for 2012.
The Prince's Trust is a youth charity that helps change young lives. The charity gives practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills such as confidence and motivation.
The Prince's Trust gives disadvantaged young people aged 13-30 the chance to succeed. The Trust works with those young people who face the biggest barriers to success: the long term unemployed, educational underachievers, those in or leaving care and ex-offenders. Last year more than three in four of the young people that were supported went in to employment, further education or training.
In the North East last year The Prince's Trust supported over 4,000 disadvantaged young people through a range of programmes including personal development and mentoring support. However, there is still more to do. There are approximately 70,000 young people in the region who need your support and in the current climate this number is growing fast.
The Trust relies on vital support from a variety of different sources including corporate supporters to continue their work. By attending the North East Accountancy Awards you will have the chance to support The Prince's Trust North East and help change young lives in the region.
